For example this, which two are the air gap height and the voice coil height?http://www.audioheritage.org/vbulletin/attachment.php?attachmentid=57179&stc=1&d=1350656727 It's all about reading, thanks everyone.

Winding height (20.0 mm) is the voice coil height/length and the top plate thickness (8 mm) is the air gap height if that clear things out? ;)
It also means that the voice coil is overhung, 12 mm longer than the air gap which could indicate an Xmax of approx ± 6.0 mm

:applaud:Understood, thanks buddy. BTW, how do we calculate the xmax of dual voice coil woofers, like this: http://www.audioheritage.org/vbulletin/showthread.php?33565-2216Nd

On page 14 you will find the symbol "Xprot" and it says: maximal voice coil excursion allowed by protecting system. But Im not 100% sure about that. In those drivers with dual voice coils something happens if one of the coils moves to the other magnetic gap, it stops because of the reversed magnetic field. But if truth should be said, I really havnt done a deeper research about it........ :o:
