A couple of years ago I picked up a pair of Jubal cabinets with crossovers from a local picker. Unfortunately, they were parted out before I found out about them. Then, last summer I acquired a complete set of 4412A components w/ crossovers. The cabinets were destroyed when removed from the wall they were hung on.

I would like to use the 4412A drivers in the Jubal cabinets. The opening for the tweeter would need to be enlarged to accept the 052ti tweeter but the woofers and mids should drop right in.

Would the Jubal cabinet volume and port be appropriate for the 128H woofer? I have the 4412A crossovers, but it would be nice to be able to use the crossovers already installed in the Jubal cabinets.

Any thoughts?

Yes. The 128H is JBL's recommendation for replacement of the original 123a in the Jubal and L-65.

Thanks. The L65 or Jubal came with I think 2 different woofers, don't remember off-hand the model numbers, but the 123A was not one of them. The 123A has cloth accordion surround and was used in L100.

But if the 128H is a recommended replacement in L65 or Jubal, I'm going with that. The next question is the crossover. Can I use the L65 (Jubal) crossover with the 4412A tweeter (052TI) and midrange (104H-2) ?

You would be better off using the 4412a crossover since it is designed for the components that you are using.

But if the 128H is a recommended replacement in L65 or Jubal, I'm going with that. It's actually an improvement.
