My laptop ASUS K42F has an altec lansing speakers, but is having problem. Where can I buy or purchase a replacement for these? Do you know one?

The Altec Lansing discussed on this forum is long out of business. The logo and name has changed hands more than once since their demise, but the current company who uses the name and makes computer speakers is this company:
