Just finishing up a refresh of a pair of L100s; I am happy with the results.
I have a pair of tweeter foam surrounds standing by, but before I put them on, I have an
audio anal-retentive question...
I'm thinking of putting a small paper channel on the back of the surrounds, where the foam might come into contact with the hair-thin speaker leads. I was very careful pulling off the deteriorated old foam, and don't want to sweat that again.
Years from now, whether it's me or someone else, I would hate that the surround adhesive might break the thin wire lead.
Or, am I overthinking this?
