E140 - Original Cone?

Hello. I'm a bass player and was always intrigued with the "E140" sound. There is an E140 available locally and the seller believes it has the original cone. He tells me it is stamped 52254 on the back of the cone. I thought original JBL cones had stampings beginning with 210. Does anyone know if a 52254 cone is original for an E140?

BTW, this will go in a ported Ampeg cabinet measuring 23.5" Wide X 21.5" High X 15.5" Deep. Thank you.
