I'm one screw missing, but they are all pretty poor. What is the exact screw specification JBL use in fixing the speakers into the cabinets. I'm in the UK and we are fully metric, I ordered some on eBay and the thread to too coarse. Hence I need a fairly precise specification please ? I can get Harley screws/bolts easily !

Thanks

Dave

Did you try a Jeep or Harley Davidson garage?

Not yet, I live in the middle of nowhere, hence the right size from eBay is my preferred option.

My recollection is: 10-32, using a 5/16 T-nut The length of the screw isn't too important, but they are just common machine screws with a "pocket head".

Not common place in the UK ! I went through all my computer bolts and huge box of Harley bits, not one fits.

I have probably 10,000 metric bolts, but of course it isn't a metric thread (I am a manufacturer)

Someone must know ??

I am amazed no one knew this !

If anyone else needs to know they are 10-32 UNF and 1" long

Regards

Dave

It's nice at our age to be amazed at something once in a while!

I was going to remove one from my L112 and measure it on a thread gauge but I forgot I didn't have any SAE thread gauges or dyes. Glad you found it. I never could find any JBL information that listed the part.
