Le14 / 4315 enclosure help

My enclosure dimensions are 38x12x20 1/4
For the le14s should I look to decrease the volume, to the
Original 4315 dimensions? Can anyone help me with a port length

8874.5/1728 = 5.13 cu feet

With the addition of the bracing/sub enclosure/damping; was this how the result of the
3.2 cubic was achieved?

You have to use the inside dimensions. And yes, you subtract any volume that might be used for a midrange box or tube in the enclosure.
