I have a pair of JBL l100. I do need a re-cone kit in white. Woofer is 123A-1. does JBL still produce the white cone kit? I am crying here I need help.

Thanks everyone

Is there something wrong with your woofers?

Unfortunately, JBL no longer makes recone kits for the L-100. You may be able to find some woofers on ebay with good cones, that may just need to be refoamed. The woofers that are are compatible with the L-100 are the 123a-3 and 2213. If you should find some 2213's, you would have to switch the leads because of it's opposite polarity. You could possibly use a 128h, but you'd have to do some work to the crossover and possibly re-tune the cabinets. Are you sure you need new cones and not just foam?

Thanks everyone for your response. YES it needs new cones. ripped from the top all the way down and around the dust cap. Also the woofer is stuck down so the voice coil is gone. No question it does need a new cone

If you can't find any woofers on ebay or craigslist, your only alternative would be to use an aftermarket kit i.e., MacKenzie, Simply Speakers, Speaker Exchange

hmm..always wondered how 128's would sound in those cabs? Even with stock crossovers?

C8R2213 for the 123A-3, all you'll need to do is pay attention and reverse your leads to match the wiring on the 123A-1

You've shifted from singular to plural a few times, so I'm not a 100% on exactly what and how much you need to fix your speakers, other than the fact that one cone is ripped and the voice coil is fried
but
there is what appears to be an extremely clean pair of 123A-1s up on ebay now with free shipping (no affiliation)
not cheap but not too bad either, all things considered
