First post and of course I have a question,
Where do I find a spec sheet for the 175 horn?
I tried to do a search and get no result using the model number....

Hi,

175 Horn ???

Here's the 175DLH cut-sheet (http://www.lansingheritage.org/html/jbl/specs/home-comp/175dlh.htm)( which may be what you're referring to ) .

Here's a link to the Lansing Heritage Library. (http://www.lansingheritage.org/)

Here's another link into the History Section in the main website (http://www.audioheritage.org/html/history/history.htm)

( Click each pic below, for other relevant info ) ;

Thanks Earl.
I have no numbers on my 175's except that.
How can I be sure that my 175's are the same as 175 dlh?
Best,

JT

You're kidding, right?

Go back and take a look at post #2; look at the "cut-sheet" (you'll have to click on those big blue letters) and extrapolate from that as well as follow his "click each pic" suggestion to gain even more insight into the "175"

"175" is not a horn, it is a compression driver

A "175DLH" is an assembly consisting of:
A "175" compression driver
A "1217" horn
A "1290" lens

The assembly may, or may not have a clamp on mounting ring, it all depended on what enclosure it was in originally or if purchased as a separate driver
