I had them for many years. I think they are very very good.
My friend still has them.

They are not even close to as dynamic as my current 4365 though.

They are more of a Revel kind of sound, than JBL, I think. You do not get the LIVE feeling, but more of an airy "audiophile" kind of experience.

I have had two pairs of Ti2K's and love them - that tweeter (I think it's made by Audax) has more detail than any other tweeter I've heard from JBL, though the Arrays do well also. They are more of a HiFi sound - not so bright, and they image well, so they are nothing like your typical big horn loaded JBL monitors. I'd love to find a pair of Ti10k's over here, but they're rare.

From The Audio Critic. They seem to be defunct now, but this issue was available for anyone to download while they were still there.

I had forgotten what a pleasure it was to read such a good reviewer's take. So much more enjoyable and useful than reading the "spiritual musical analysis" of so many of today's reviews.

Actually, what I concern is the bass quality, just wonder if it may have a deep bass to cover my 250 ft living room.

It does not play deep bass.

It does not play deep bass.

Perhaps I have to change my mind for S3100 MKII

As far as bass quality the Ti10K is one of the best that JBL has ever made. Agreeing with one of the earlier post it is definitely more of an audiophile speaker. The bass extension is not as low as some other traditional JBL speakers. However for the range it covers the fast dual 8"s command with quick, punchy, razor sharp accurate bass. If you are looking for a box that is boomy or that will play down to 20hz, pass. But if you are looking for bass quality, they will be your huckleberry!
