Hi all. I'm new to the forum.

Anyways, I'm looking to build some L250 clones. I've scoured the internet, but I've been unable to find any constuction plans. Does anybody here have any? If not, could somebody at least supply me the dimensions?

Thank you
Dave

Thank you so much Odd. You rock! I am assuming those are external dimensions?

External yes.

250's are a really good case of it being cheaper to buy than build - in completed form they are not rare nor expensive. However, some of the parts, such as the crossovers or 108h mid bass are awfully hard to find - are you planning a strict copy, or substituting parts?

I agree 100% having been there and done that. The very worst part to replicate was the tweeter bezel. :banghead: Be patient and see what pops up.

I'm not sure the tweeter bezel actually adds anything important, other than being sexy. At least they didn't think it important enough to include on the ti10k or others with time-aligned baffles.

Yes, I agree. I bought a pair.

Should I build, I'd go full active and tried with 2118 istede of 108H

well, it changes the aimed angle . if flush mounted it could be beaming over heads.

I just so happen to have a pair of those cast aluminum 035 mounts. I found them when I was going to build a set but alas I have moved on. PM me if the OP (or anyone for that matter) are interested in them.

I've already decided to substitute the 108H with 2118H (I got them on Saturday as a matter of fact). If it doesn't sound right, I can get them re-coned as 108H's. I'd rather not spend the extra 3 or 4 hundred bucks to do that. I'll build the cross-overs myself. I've got the schematics for both the 250 and 250Ti. It just depends on which tweeter is more easily available.

Where can I get the 108H reconed? Are the original kits available? My research indicates that the kits are now aftermarket....:(

Any chance I can get you to kindly share the L250 schematics?

The two models are really different animals due to the different cone specs. Can't expect them to match up very well with the stock crossover.
