Hello,

Im trying to reconstruct the jbl 2108 using either a k110,le10, or 112a.
The le110d,d however I cannot locate its pdf to check pertinent information...

So is anybody aware if the le10 / le111 have the same backplate thickness, I know the le111 is a woffer,
Maybe its thicker for this application.
Thanks.

Gaps are always located within a top-plate.

The 2 top-plates ( at least what's visible above the frame inset collar ) measure as identical ( to these old eyes ) at @ 5.5mm .

Magnetic Assemblies that use Ferrite Magnets have a back-plate ( it's part of the magnetic return path ) .

Just trying to keep the vernacular straight here.

These are all magnetic assemblies ( utilizing ferrite magnets ) and have, front and back ( top & bottom ) plates.

It is important to refer to the parts by the correct nomenclature so that any one responding knows what is being discussed.
