This is a question from annother thread that I moved here because it was a little OT in the other thread.
Robert - what are you using the 2332/2451 combo in? Is it for home, studio, or pro sound reinforcement use? What other components, and crossover info? Do you like the way it sounds? I've really considered a similar combination, (but using the 2430 instead of 2451 - $$$). It looks like the 2332 is cast, (aluminum?). And it also looks like you have a thin strip of velcro along the bottom - purpose?
John
John, I use them for HT. It's an all active digital system with a Meridian 561 feeding three Behringer DCX2496 digital XO's. XO at 80Hz for the subs, 1kHz for the 2451/2332 and 10kHz for the 025Ti in the fronts. I'm using a computer based MLS system for measuring and a Bruel&Kjaer Type 0 microphone for control. The response is flat (+/- 1 db) from 140Hz to 22kHz. Pretty decent.
The subs are SUB1500, the bass/mids are ÖhmanW85, the mids are 2451/2332 (the 2332 is cast in alu.) in the front and center and 2426/OASR in the rears. In the front system I have added a pair of 025Ti since my measurements show a steep roll off from 16k. The roll off proved difficult to cure through the XO's so I added two tweeters.
Two fronts like this
