I am planning to put my 4365s on casters/wheels (due to a troublesome domestic government, not allowing me to place the speakers where I want them).

Anyone having experiences on this topic, or any other advice, please share.

Hi,
Do you mean screwing wheels on it? I wouldn't do that!
Dolly? You know those at $12 at harbour tools!

A custom made dolly is probably best.
There are [do not know the english word for the female part of a screw/bolt] where the feet are connected, where casters could be screwed into. But that would be more of a hassle to get right, I guess.

Nice examples.
The Kenrick ones looks a little bit over-the-top for me :)
I also want brakes, if possible
Anyone knows if a dolly gets stable? I have kids...
I also have to consider the added height. There are both pros and cons with adding more height.

Something like this from one of our members over on Audiokarma would work nicely to conceal the casters:

Looking at the photo of Kenrick 4365 I see that woofers are supported with four external clips, the JBL 4365 does not have external supports which raises the question of what woofers are used in Kenrick offering, are these 2235’s used for all 43XX series?

Those mounting clamps were used on the 4338.

This is not 4365 in this picture, it is 4338

Regarding height, it depends. In my case, I have treated the first reflection points with diffusers so it doesen't matter if the speakers goes up or down in height.:)

Vertical positioning does not only affect first floor/calling reflexions at the listening position, it also affects the way vertical modes are triggered.

Bought a pair of this dolly today.
Pretty perfect dimensions, and with brakes.

Nice!
What is the height?

The dolly height is 12cm.
The 4365 standard feet (male cone on speaker and female cone on floor) height are 3cm.
Should be ok, or what do you say?

Now, I have 2 new problems:

1. Getting the darn 85kg monster on the dolly.

2. Finding the best speaker position.

Brute-force-attack is needed for both, I guess.

Yes simply remove the female part and you should be good to go.

1) Knock at your neighbor door and have a beer together, he will help you!
2) Google it! You'll find out! So many things we don't know! Size of the room, position etc...

That's what I was thinking and then use those four holes to mount the caster board to the speaker if this is to me semi permanent or moved over uneven terrain.
