.... I found this pretty pair of JBL 2202H speakers (DCR 6.9 and 6.8) in excellent condition for a nice price , and this ... in my backyard so to speak (from Belgium to Netherlands 300miles). Come from a hobby musician at half rest ... Now it comes.. his second pair !! in the same condition he has reserved for me in nearby future.A saying goes, patience is rewarded;)

...and in the same week ... can I buy these two fine specimens, with the original blue slides,

double happiness

Very nice find.

I feel guilty sometimes. I have so many of these pieces just laying around from the old days, doing nothing, I forget that there is an entire continent (or two or three) having trouble finding any of these.

Sorry; I had no plans to part with them when they were current and even farther away would be my parting with them, now.

:)

Thanks for your nice comments people, and if you already have a lucky day it is still painful to watch as a legendary brand his years of loyal customers-buyers in recent years shamelessly leave behind. In the mid 70's (I was 15) I was lucky then-real overhead !! listen and experience and buy later years 80'-90'-2000, until some time ago that was for me a statement in my life.
Now this is past .... not answering emails, parts are no longer available, offer pro products catalog 2015 homebuilt are clear evidence of how the segment divested private use .And no I am not negativist, I'm just years of user ankle then determined ... and(hope-think) not the only one.
But I still have a great!!! admiration and respect!! for those teams who for years have brought their commitment and wisdom to users.
Excuse for my bad english writing

Heck,

I have a lovely pair of 2235H speakers, refoamed years ago by OCS, and never used after that, I would consider trading them for a lovely pair of 2441's, with proper JBL aluminum diaphragms, as I've not used the 2235H's, and would love to have the 2441's. Just sayin'...... Take care, and God Bless!

Every Good Wish,
Doc

Good Morning, Challenger604!

Many thanks for that link, and yes, I've checked out JJ many times, and their prices are always on the high side. As things stand, right now, I have 2445 drivers, with original JBL diaphragms, and was also sent a pair of the same 'phragms that had been aqua-plased, and I'll be giving these some serious consideration before moving on to a 2441 driver. I just need time, and space to test all that, and much of my project work is always contingent upon me having time (self-employed), money, and very good weather (we live in the mountains, with no closed-in garage). I mentioned a trade, as that would get me a pair of 2441's without having to spend coin that is not in the cards, right now. Not in a hurry on any of this stuff, as I have tons of projects, some of which have been simmering for a good many years! ;) Thank you, again, and I'll talk to you soon, I'm sure! Take care, and God Bless!

Every Good Wish,
