Hi, I want to build a bass reflex speaker using the woofer JBL 2225h: what is the correct volume and the size of the pipe? And what is the minimum volume optimal?
Thanks for your help
Giuseppe

Hi audiophile.1963,

As JBL suggested: Vbox=140 Lit, tuned at 40Hz

...and the tube/pipe?
Less than 140 lt is not possible?

Hi audiophile.1963,

As I have seen from the 2225 data, JBL has suggested 140 Lit, box tuned at 40Hz.
Sure, it is possible to do with smaller box, but, LF response would be worse.
Two ports 105mm internal diameter length about 108mm

For say 100Lit box, tuned at 42 Hz, ports length about 170mm.
Power limit to about 100W, with Hi-pass filter about 35Hz..
