Usually not used with one, if in an instrument speaker application. They make guitar amps really, really sound great. Any of 'em!

Peter:

E110 and WHAT is the question. What other speakers are in your system? What is the application?

Hi Zilch,

thank you for your reply, maybe you can help me. Here is the former question:

Nobody replied so I held the question more generally. If I had a frequency response of this driver it would be a great help too. How does it differ from the 2123 in the treble part? Are 6db and a Zobel enough for low pass. At what point should I cross? This box shall be used in home audio only. So no problems with directivity or overpowering. The box is a 31 Liter vented enclosure.

Right now I will start using 1mH (6db) and the Zobel with 6,8mF and 8,2 Ohm on the E110.
The Fostex FD600 will get a 4,7mF and 0,68mH (12db) filter with an attenuator of 4,7 and 5,8 Ohm.

Looks like it will work, but you'd better wait for one of the crossover gurus here to chime in.

The aluminum dome is not a problem. Supposedly, it serves to extend the high end, but I'm not sure it extends it as high as you're proposing to use it. The data sheet says response to 8K, tho.

Here, again, somebody with the E110 curves at hand can answer that better for you.
