Hi;

JBL part number 20810. Sells for about $5.60 USD per each.

Any JBL service center should be able to get them for you easily.

I imagine that speaker company that has sold all the M2 parts all over the world could send them to you?

If you cannot get them in your home country let me know and I will see if I can mail to you.

All the best,
Barry.

Cut one out of a cereal box, it will work just as well. There's no real pressure there. I'm sure people here will disagree with me but you could use any card stock or thick paper.

Agreed that nearly any fairly thin compressible gasket material will work. Gasket making/cutting is kindof an art and fun too. Cool what you can do with a ball peen hammer and a few select size loose bearing balls.

hello Nick ,thanks for you'r advise.
But i prefer/will restore with the most orginal vintage parts as possible(a real challenge) and a minimum of diverge,though i take my time for doing it with the most respect and conviction for the superb vintage products,you'r right it's not easy to find some parts.

I respect that. But its good to know what you can do when your in a pinch. I'd be curious what jbl charges for one though.

wow Barry, $5.60. If you think about it, that's pricey. But its less then I expected.

How much does it cost to go to jbl school?

Hi Nick;

That is the retail price and that gives the shop owner a couple of bucks for going to the trouble. It is also peel and stick.

On the JBL school thing I have no idea how that currently works. You probably have to travel to China. Grrrrr.

Barry.
