Hi All
One of my 2405 s is blown, unfortunately.
Looking around eBay, I found one seller offering the genuine JBL part for the 2405 for $179 but its a 16 ohm spec.
There are plenty of 'aftermarket' products from China for a lot less (about $15) and they seem to be all 8 ohm.
My tweeter says 8 ohm on the back.
What should i do?
Thank you kindly.

Buy the genuine (if it's indeed genuine) version regardless. Even though the part number is D16R2405, it's the correct part. There are no "8 ohm" diaphragms.

Agree with JeffW,

never,ever use 'after-market' diaphragm for 2405.
the only 2405 spare diaphragm is D16R2405,
and its impedance is from 8 to 12 ohms depending to the frequency, say nominal 10 Ohms.
