Anyone knows the difference between 2307/2312 (H91/H92) ?
Is the longer horn sounding better ??
And what`s about the 2301 compared to the longer older ones ?

From what I know, the H91/2307's are 1200hz minimum crossover point horns and the only exception I know of is the L200B which had the LE85/H91's crossed over at 800hz. I have also read in other threads that this lower crossover point in the L200B's was a compromise with limited results. The H92/2312 is a longer,800hz horn used in the L300 and 4333 monitors. My particular experience confirms the earlier thead's assertion that the shorter H91/2307 does not really work that well below 1200hz in comparison to the longer H92/2312 IMHO. I really love the full sound of the longer horn over the shorter. The 2301 as far as I know is the pro equivilant of an HL87 and has a 1500hz or higher crossover point. I started out my L222/L220 conversion with the HL87's and quickly found that a much higher crossover point was needed so I crossed them over with a 2500hz pair I had laying around with excellent results for what I was using, nice little short horns, good where space limitations are a factor. As far as a difference between older versions and new, I cannot say. :D
