I have a pair of JBL 175 DLH POTATO MASHERS VINTGE ONES.THE DRIVERS HAVE THE SAME SERIAL NUMBERS N-503 174 AND N-503 174
CAN THIS BE?:banghead:
CAN ANYBODY HELP WITH THIS STRANGE SERIAL NUMBER ON BOTH

Could be fake number plates!
You can buy such things on eBay - even stamp your own numbers!

If that vintage was labelled more in the fashion of lot codes, it may be fine.
pics would probably help those that remember these things.

I have seen many D130's with the same "serial number". Grumpy may be right, it could be a 'Lot Code' issue.
