Has anyone tried PiO caps (mainly the old USSR ones) in passive dividing networks, how do they sound and do they respond well to charge coupling?
I'm currently looking for something to replace the Jantzen Crosscaps with, which I think are the cause of a lot of 'grain' in the HF/UHF but I'd like to keep it cost effective at the same time.
For now I've looked at the Mundorf S/G Alu, Obbilgato (tempting but not so easy to find) and the russki PiO's.
By the way, are there any benefits of using two 2uF caps over four 1uF caps connected like this (1+1)+(1+1), just to be able to connect the CC on Giskard's CC networks.:dont-know:
