I am shocked, a limited edition loudspeaker with a typo on the front? What do you guys think?

I'd suspect an Asian knock-off copy till proven otherwise.

This would be something new then, knock off Century Golds
The seller also seems to have the doucumentation and the the second speaker seems to have the correct "century" on it.

Someone did some cleaning and the "front foot" of the R came off ...
especially if its twin in the set is spelled correctly

call me a "Doubting Thomas", but I just can't see faking an old, not much value anymore speaker.
the dropped "R" foot makes more sense.

There are many ways to verify in person.

what is the asking price ?

I believe those are raised letters and shiny/polished. The missing leg is more likely to just be an issue with reflection and the camera. I suspect they are what they seem.

Price might actually get reasonable for those of us in the USA after the Euro tanks next week. ;)

The asking price was €800 ~ $913 dollars.
