I have a pair of N800d crossovers/16ohm with several HF taps. Im hooking them to 803bs in 612 cabs and trying 288c/511e at the 800 xover point.Whats the best HF tap to use.I know I can mess around and try them all but want to avoid soldering /resoldering etc...thanks

That's an unusual application of the N800D, so you may not get a definitive answer. FWIW, I would wire the hottest HF tap to an L-pad, so I could easily adjust the finished product.

Unusual application???....don't follow that at all as the 288 to me sounds better crossed over at 800 w less effort..and the woofer chimes in at a higher point as well..try it you may like it

I didn't say it isn't a good idea; just that the original use of the N800D was with the 811 horn with 802 driver. I think most people these days feel that the 511 should be crossed around 800Hz, and the 811 at more like 1200Hz.
