Dear forum!

I have two Camco DL3000-2p.
Is it possible to biamp the DD66000 without an active crossover?
In the manual they say, i need an active crossover. Is it right?

If it is possible: How do i set the jumpers?

Thank you

Dieter

It is possible to PASSIVE biamp the DD66000: I have tried. Because the Crossovers separate the Bass and the HF-speaker.

Otherwise Bi-Wiring were not possible.

I believe it may be possible, if you -only- remove the shorting straps on the rear terminal area,
-and- the amps are matched in sensitivity. But as the manual says, you should be
consulting a dealer. View this response as well intended, but also as speculation and conjecture
based on a brief look at the manual.

If any of the straps intended for passive vs. biamp are moved on the front panels,
you could find yourself in a world of anguish.

Yes, I only removed the the shorting straps on the rear terminal area and the amps are matched in sensitivity.

But i don't like the sound. So i run the DD in passive mode.

Thank you Dieter

That seems to be the strong suggestion in the manual (run passive, bi-wire if you like, or go full/dedicated active biamp)
