I heard a pair of piano black 3900's at one of the Home Audio Sound/Harman rooms at RMAF; these are great sounding little speakers!

Yeah, I heard about the piano black finish via facebook. I'm a little annoyed, because I would have preferred that finish on the S4700s.

Anyway, I figured that. I'd like to hear them too. Hopefully @ CES.

I will have to track down some pics of the piano black. I have been nothing but thrilled with my S3900s. I am spinning a Tape Project tape on my Studer A807 as I type this. These speakers absolutely excel at classical music. Great stuff! :D

Ok, cool, thanks. Sounds good! They're getting better as they break in, aren't they?

Not to derail but, congratulations Martin! A car is a degree of freedom most in America take for granted. I hope it brings you many happy returns!

Barry.

What is P/C factor?
Sorry for my English,it means cost performance or C/P Ratio,Capability/price Ratio.

It's a Ford....a long way and many, many thousands of dollars from an Aston. There is usually more to a car than copying looks of another.

I generally like Ford .and was proud that they were the only one not to take bailout money . That fusion would look nice in my driveway too

Ford copied MB's looks last century , but beauty is more than skin deep. I have a Ford Ranger. Replaced it's fuel pump 2 months ago , judging from the price ($900) maybe they did put in an Aston pump.

Sorry for my English,it means cost performance or C/P Ratio,Capability/price Ratio. I agree, they pack a huge amount of punch into a small, relatively affordable package. Add a 1500 Array sub or two and you have a killer system that doesn't dominate the room. They should come out with a "Wilson silver" version of these little guys. Here they are next to the BOTL ($5,000) Revels Harman was pushing so hard.

You can,you can afford a more expensive car if you want and upgrade your JBL system, maybe M2 is a good choise:D

Ford copied MB's looks ?never heard of that.Ford is Ford, i don't care it copy whatever, nice looking is not a bad thing.it is my first car, cheap and big,i like it.
A fuel pump cost you $900?in China they won't be so much.BTW,Ford F150,F350 are very popular in Chinese rich man.

Are these little guys really so good?add a 1500 sub is not a reasonable match,because 1500 is too expensive,any other choise?then how about 4429 add a sub?

A cheap sub is worse than no sub at all. $5,000 per speaker in a $15,000 (MSRP) setup seems pretty balanced to me.4429 plus a sub(s) sounds like a great idea to me.
