I have only just joined and am a little confused on how to start a new thread (subject). Hope this second go works.
My 2203H loudspeakers required new surrounds for the third time. In the past the whole cone was replaced but this time just the surrounds unfortunately they don't sound as good and it turns out the free air resonance is was 23 Hz with the cone movement being stiffer.
Does anyone know of a roll surround that keeps the loudspeaker at 16 Hz?
After the this roll surround replacement they tried another surround and this produced 19.2 Hz on one and the other 22.5Hz - this surround had a 10mm roll width, this should be 16mm but it appeared to be not so stiff. All a bit hit & miss. Can anyone help?
