I need to replace a broken mounting peg on an L96; it uses this type of peg:

Where can I buy these new?

I thought all vintage JBLs used the type of peg in the eBay ad below; I think my L100s do. When did they change the design?

You might even find different L96 revisions with different type pegs.

My L96 appear to use the second type you posted, as do my L112 and L150A. Its hard to say without pulling one out.

The only real difference is the size of the hole they need, the outer parts are much the same.

Yes, the portion of the peg that fits into the grille frame is the same diameter on both types; the one I need has a smaller diameter (1/4" vs. 3/8") where it goes into the cabinet and seems to be less common. I found it was a pretty tight fit when I extracted the broken portion from the cabinet so maybe it was considered an "improved" design. Anyway I hesitate to buy any used ones like in the eBay listing because I think they would almost have to be slightly damaged during the process of getting them out.

Somebody was making and selling new replacements at one point.
