4312MKII with McIntosh

Hi,

I got a pair of 4312MKII in pretty good state and plan to use it with my MC2125 amp. I understand they are 6 ohms speakers but the barrier strip on the 2125 provides 2, 4, 8 and 16 ohms connections only.
Which one should be the most appropriate, 4 or 8ohms ?

Nice speakers.

Connect it at 4 ohm tap. I have JBL 4429 and have tested 4 versus 8 ohm tap with my MC252. Look here http://www.audioheritage.org/vbulletin/showthread.php?35547-My-new-JBL-4429
