I'm updating the system and flipping through old files but cannot find any information on the SUB1500 sensitivity. I use two of them as sub’s in my system.
I have an old post from this forum saying 89.4 db but on other posts and forums it is stated at 92 db. All input appreciated.
Kind regards

Due to the fact that it's a 4 ohm driver it will have two different specs that are both valid.
SPL: 92 dB 2.83V/1m
When considering the above spec, just remember current draw isn't mentioned.
The 89.4db you found is probably 1watt/1M.
I hope this helps.

Hi Aaron
Thank you. That makes sense.
It does not say in the JBL spec posted in the SUB1500 thread how they got to the 89.4, but that is probably 1W/1m as you suggest.
I can measure but it is easier to start with a ball park number.
Kind regards
