Hello, I am in the process of refreshing a pair of Model 19's and was wondering about refinishing the horns. Is there any harm in painting these? Is there a paint that would be more suitable than any other? The area i would like to freshen up is basically just the exposed front of the horn. It is mostly just fine, but there are a few unsightly blemishes that i would like to get rid of unless i would be doing more harm than good.
