Newbie poster here:
Any one else own these?
Any opinions on changing out original crossover caps & resistors?
Any other suggestions on the JBL L212 system is appreciated.
Thank you.

Resistors don't degrade over time, but you might want to replace any electrolytic caps, although they are probably fine.

Resistors don't degrade over time, ...

...although they can become intermittent or fail entirely due to abuse (heat) or mishandling.

If you have a way to measure caps (out of circuit), it's not hard to convince yourself
of the potential for improvement (even if the originals seem to be holding up, replacement
caps can be spec'd to tighter tolerance possibly improving imaging via better L/R matching).

As to whether replacing and/or bypassing would change the speaker characteristics positively...
probably... JBL seemed to think so in their crossover evolution.

So what did you do, if anything?
I would suggest replacing all the caps, using polypropylene, and adding by-pass caps and building Biased XOs.
I have personally done all that and more to my L212s.
