Hi guys ,will this (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/JBL2243HPL-Ex-Dynacord-18-sub-woofer-speaker-may-require-re-cone-/121313785246?pt=UK_ConElec_SpeakersPASystems_RL&hash=item1c3edd759e) 2243HPL be a suitable donor frame to recone as 2241G to match another in a SRX 4718 . Box to be built as the SRX's not so common around here.

You can recone your 2243hpl with c8r2242h recone kit, you can't use 2241g recone kit, 2242h and 2243h have different frame and larger magnet

Thanks for the answer. Need to go 4 ohm to match the G , which actually has a DCR of 2.6 ohm.
Ah well , i'll keep looking.
