The w1500h is a great Subwoofer driver

Nice too see it in this new box

i have heard The S2S and The array 1500
the second one is my choice

the second one is my choiceI haven't seen or heard this new sub. Do you know if the new S2S-EX has an external amp with FLO?

I recently set up my Revel B112 with built in amp and FLO... very impressive. I'd say the 12" B112 will give the 1500 Array a run for the money... especially if you deploy multiples, and at $3K instead of $5K and almost half the size, it is a bit easier to deploy several.

Yes The Revel 112 sub is very nice and powerfull
the dsp in it rocks

The S2S EX seems like a moré high output solution for a custum synthesis solution with Sdec and external amps

How would you guys think the S2S-EX would compare to the S1S-EX?

How would you guys think the S2S-EX would compare to the S1S-EX?The S1S-EX has greater output and power handling. I personally prefer the sound of the W1500H driver to the 2242H, but since either of these are intended to be used in a Synthesis system with a SDEC and room calibration, the sonic differences may not make that much difference.

They may, however, have different requirements for placement and associated EQ in a given room. The cabs themselves might also have a different sound, but I'd expect the "inaudible" performance of them to be equally impressive. (Blowing out candles and popping drywall nails, and such)
