Hi everyone!
Just a quick question - I recently bough a pair of the JBL 4730a speakers, with intention to use them at home. I'm wondering is there anyway to plug them to the regular hifi amp via banana plugs ? I have never heard/seen the type of the connectors that the 4730a have
any help would be much appreciated!
Thanks :)

Thank you! - please forgive my ignorance - i guess I need 2 of them for each speaker ?
is the diagram below correct ? ( simply I don't want to fry anything inside :) - they seams to have some nice drivers and it would be a shame to see them go bad )

Speakonplugs have both + and - in the same so you use only one plug. The other one is if you want to connect another speaker to the same channel on your amp.

As Baldrick mentioned, the extra connection is for adding another speaker on the same amplifier channel. The two connetors are wired in paralell inside the speaker. Therefore, if you connect your amplifier as shown in the drawing, you have shorted your amplifier output. That could destroy the amplifier, so don't do it.
