Not quite identical, but from the same gene pool.:)

Very nice!

Did you have to modify the location of the peg holes to get the L100 frames on the L96s? Or does the inline L100 grille frame fit right on there?

The Quadrex grilles are by far my favorite speaker grille of all time. I have a set of L100s, they might not be the best sounding speaker but man are they cool looking! :bouncy:

The L100 and L96 cabinets are dimensionally the same in width and height. The L100 grille frame (the later staggered drivers type, not the inline type) was modified to clear the LE10, LE5, and port tube opening. New holes were drilled for the L96 dowel pins.

Like the Marantz too!

I have always liked Marantz products, mostly.

Recently, I was allowed to pull a Marantz receiver SR325 (not totally classic, but worth having for free) out of our recycle bin at work. There was nothing wrong with it, except that it is old (and it had been upgraded by the owner). I powered it up and it works fine.
Not sure how I will use it, but I saw no reason for it to be crushed and its metals recycled.

Nothing else (most everything I want is in place), I have a really cool garage receiver, for when pool time comes back around.

:)

BUT!

Did you just luck into these twins or ...?

Found a Technics catalog from late 80's (?) and they also had some cool grilles (not many seen in the wild)

What about the 4313B? Is that the same cabinet size as the L100/L96?

The length and width of the 4313 is the same as the L100. The outer dimension of the L100 grill frame is 23-7/16L X 14-1/4W, which means it should fit the 4313 with minor modification to the cutouts and dowel pin holes.
