If I wanted to use a waveguide instead of a horn, my present favorite is Wayne's waveguide. Great on-axis response with very reasonable dispersion.

You can purchase waveguides through JBL Professional. You need the part number to know what you are buying.

Wayne's Pi4 using a JBL 2226h is a very good sounding loudspeaker. I've had a pair for years.
