I am planning to upgrade my 4343's with a 2441 on a 2311 horn but I forgot about the dog box so it most probably won't fit :crying:

Has anyone succeeded replacing the stock "1 driver with a "2, any tips or ideas? :banghead:

I had 2441's in both my 4345's and 4343B's at one time before i sold them.

They JUST fit - depending on tolerances and very small production changes.

Use a rounded wood rasp to shave a little off the top of the doghouse to allow easy installation.

The 2450 fit into my 4345's with no shaving. I used dusted diaphragms, and they sounded pretty good.

I know this (http://www.audioheritage.org/vbulletin/showthread.php?25898-Help-With-Potential-DIY-Project&p=271656&viewfull=1#post271656) thread is about the 4345 but might be of some interest, mostly about xo though.
