Very interesting read! I had a chance to hear John offer a lecture in San Diego, many years ago, and took copious notes, trying to keep up with all the wonderful information he shared that night!! I concur, this is a very fun read...
with a very interesting perspective....

as a side note...
I do know that David Mancuso, famous for the Loft parties,
conceived in NYC, specifies K-Horns configured with stereo front/left, mono center
with side/rear fill units included with a few db down to help standardize response
throughout the room...
