Hello
In some manuals JBL write that this is a 2" driver (meaning 2" diapkragm I assume) and in some they write 1 3/4". So what is it really?
And it look like it has a 1" exit, but always a throat/adapter mounted with a perhaps 1.5" exit, for the horn on array 1000 or SAM3VA plus perhaps more.

Can anyone give more exact information? And is this driver any good, compared to fx 435 or 2450? Can it be used in a 2-way setup from say 800hz-16.000hz ?
Best regards
Verner

Anyone knows the impedance of 175nd-3? Is it 8 ohm?

Anyone knows if Red-terminal is + or - on the 175nd-3?

The DC resistance is shown as 3.7 ohms here:
http://www.jblsynthesis.com/tl_files/catalog//jblsynthesis/800%20Array/800%20Array%20Technical%20Specs.pdf
So it would probably rated at 8 ohms.
Sorry, I don't want to disassemble mine to check the sizes.

Thanks Don.
The reason I asked was becaude of protection cap dimensioning.
100uF would be about correct then for a 750Hz crossover and this 4ohm driver, if I interpret JBL protection cap guidelines correct.
