I've got 3 Altec 417-8H speakers. All are 8 ohm. I tested them with a multimeter and they read between 5-7 ohms. Why the variance, and is a higher reading better, or should I just trust my ears? These are being used in a Mesa Boogie guitar amp, btw. Thanks in advance for the input...
