Nice work there, keep it up.

Your going to pad inside those 10" mid enclosures right?

yeah that's on the list for tomorrow. my problem is they are a bit heavy to turn around on the table now by myself. tonight when my partner comes over we will fling them around the other way.

then tomorrow i can pad the dog boxes and the lower part of the cabinet (through the 15" opening). also i'll give them a very light sand and apply a second coat of the oil mix.

Velcro adhesive tape from Bunnings.

You may find the Interbond has insufficient frictional loss.(see what happens when you test the tuning)

JBL recommends 3/4 inch Fibreglass.

Those Hovlands look yummy.

Nice speaker project, Jarrods! I noted the use of the diningroom table in a photograph on another thread. Your housemates are extremely tolerant!

Is that the Project May auction 2425J I see above in its new home?

Hi David,

Yes that is the Project May 2425J I got through this forum. It is in excellent shape... more so that the other one which I got off eBay.

Actually every driver in this whole project was obtained by the great people of this forum... If not directly bought from them, they had a helping hand in shipping off my eBay purchases (from ppl who only ship to USA) over to me in Australia. So thanks to ppl like you, Mr Widget & John Nebel I have the bits I needed.

Well I just had to give up my dining room for the build. hahaha is such a mess at the moment but i live alone here so i don't have to listen to any complaints about how many rooms are sacrificed to the greater JBL...
