Hoping someone can help with the fitting possibility of putting a C8R2122 OR C8R2121 recone into a JBL LE111H basket..???
I searched through as many threads as I could find but the LE111H didn't come up for much of a mention...
Anyone familiar with this combination...?
Thanks for the help!

From the many who had a look at this, it doesn't seem like a common fitment.
In contacting a JBL Dealer in the US for advice, they weren't sure about this one - although familiar with the http://www.audioheritage.org/vbulletin/showthread.php?16962-Field-Guide-to-the-JBL-10-inch-Midbass-driver-2121-2122-2123 thread here.
In having another look at the Tech Sheet on the L110A [using the LE111H], it states the LE111H's Gap :0.053" giving hopefully enough room
for fitting.
The fact that I missed out on these on the 'bay' is little comfort as far as the fitting goes... :dont-know:

Why don't yet get yourself a 2123 off Ebay? Plenty there.
Allan.

Hi More10,
Yes I saw that list - can be handy to see 'how usable' the basket IS if you can't get the original fitment recones anymore... as in the case
of the LE-10_ & LE-111_. Just like it's bad news for the E 145 as I am finding out.. And I 'loathe' the idea of aftermarket.... eeewww!!! So, what do you do then... throw the good baskets to the scrap recyclers ??? Too much like sacrilege!!!
Even if it can't be a LE 111H it is still all genuine JBL if it turns out a 2122H ! ...and keeps playing for a long time to come!!!
Good in my books!

The thread E140 = 2225??? (http://www.audioheritage.org/vbulletin/showthread.php?7850-E140-2225&highlight=Recone+Basket+list) deals with this. Post #7. I believe you are out of luck :-(
But you can still build your own replacement kit from separate parts. It takes a lot of practice to get it right I believe.
