Hi all. I'm helping out a pal in the US who is trying to rescue a pair of D120F that are destined for a Twin Reverb amp.
Now that gen JBL cone kits are ' gone ' I could use some feedback on the numerous aftermarket kits that are available.
I am aware that Edgewound is selling a kit on the bay and have already recommended this but it is stretching the budget as the repairs were not foreseen before the drivers were purchased.
What about these from Sound Speaker Repair , somewhat cheaper.

According to the poop sheet they have taken care to get things correct , except for the dome which they admit is slightly heavier than original.
Amy input from folks with experience of these or other kits will be much appreciated.
