I just picked up a 1970 Kustom tuck & roll bass head and 2x15 cab. The cab is labeled a CTS cab, but I discovered that it actually has the Fender signature speaker labeled Model D140F-6 JBL speakers. They say 16 ohms with number 970402 on each and serial #s 10060 and 10064 respectively. The frame is gray and the label is orange and silver. They sound great. I just don't anything about this particular series. I know about the "standard" D140F, but the Fender labeled one with the -6 on the end is a mystery to me. Any info would be greatly appreciated. BTW - they sound great.
