LMC Model 816 info?

I'm helping my neighbor with what appears to be an iconic. The model number is 816. The vacuum tube is missing. He says a 6L6 will work, but the vacuum tube in old brochures appears to be a larger one. Any info on this speaker would be greatly appreciated. thanks for looking.:confused:

The 6l6 did have a variant that came in a st style bottle, " aka" coke bottle tubes". Could that be what your seeing in the picture?

Thanks for the advice Nick, found a 6L6 coke bottle style on Ebay for a reasonable price.
