Hope I don't need one but I'm thinking about equalizers and wondered who is making the best these days.

I have an RTA so I'll have a look before I buy. Just gathering ammo today.

Cant go wrong with a Meyer CP10 parametric, I`ve seen them go in the $500 range.

Cant go wrong with a Meyer CP10 parametric, I`ve seen them go in the $500 range.Digital DSP based units are typically very powerful and inexpensive... that said, I haven't heard one yet I'd use in a dedicated two channel music system.

That Meyer unit would be at or near the top of my analog list. White also made some very transparent analog EQs.
