Ive been contemplating a project for some time now and Im currently in the process of collecting drivers and such. Im aiming at a system similar to the K2 s95000 but with everest dd67000 components with a yishi A-290S horn in between the 15" drivers. If I manage to come by the DD67000 crossover as well, would I have any use of this crossover or would it be better to make a crossover from scratch? I wouldnt be using the UHF driver so the lowpass would have to go on the 476Be. Maybe som eq on the 476Be would be good addition. I wouldnt have a very similar cabinett to the dd67000 which I presume means other baffelcorrections i.e. any suggestions?

Since you are using a different horn and a different cabinet there would be no reason to use the DD67000 network.

Good luck getting the drivers! They are pretty rare.

HI Mostlydiy,

Be aware that Yuichi A290S has different directivity then DD670000 horn, so the compensation of the driver-horn response would be different, but Low-frequency region , I can expect, would behave almost the same. For sure, first the measurements of the bare driver-horn response would be better starting point.

Thank you guys, Im ditching the DD67000 network. I will probably start experimenting with an active filter to finally construct the passive network based on the that result. I quess I could always have a sneak peak att the components of the original to have someware to start.

Isn't that Yuchi 290s a clone of the TAD 4001? Which in turn sits atop the TAD Exclusive 2401?

Could be, I have no idea. They look very similar for sure.
