The second one appears to be made up of TAD components including the ribbon tweeter. I don't recognize the horn though.

Do you have any info on these images?

I had to go and get something out of my audio storage, and I happened to be with my dad! So, I took him over there with me, and he came into one of my 10` x 12`storage rooms, and the look of disbelief on his face! I have two of these rooms, and he was absolutely perplexed with the amount of audio gear I have acquired over the years! He told me you got enough to do 3 clubs, and he also asked me If I wouldnt have more fun going through women like I do audio gear!

He just could not believe the amount of stuff I have! And this does not include what I have in my house, or my warehouse, and in my buisiness!

And I want more! :screwy:

My wife lost hope with me completely.
No wonder, this is only the stuff waiting to start with the 4313 and 4435.
Not to imagine her reaction when I start collecting the M9500 drivers.

The top picture is from this German site devoted to the Paragon. I've tried contacting the owner, but have never received a reply. Language may be the issue since, as you will see, the site is in German.

I contacted him years ago to see if he was interested in a link exchange. I can't remember for sure, but I think his site actually predated ours. At that time, it was rare to come across people on the net that shared an interest in JBL, so I thought he might be interested in talking to someone with a shared interest.

Hi Don,

Yes, this is a report from a German 1982 HiFi magazine.
You see Fred Kato fixing the round paragon wall.
But there is nothing new to know in this report.
They wrote 36 Paragons were gone to Japan and onl 1 or 2
a year to Germany in this time.
By the way, need adress for mailing the 375 Pics to you !!
Please answer in the forum, if you can`t answer to me.

Regards
Eckhard

Huh? What?

Looks like a stack of stuff to me. Don't see any JBL logos anywhere so toss it. :D

Doen`t like it ??

It`s an old late 70`s early 80`s Dual HiFi.
Look this very fine "technic look", made in this years !!
Love it.
This is fully remotable, not much HiFi had this in this years.
Autoreverse Cassette Deck with Dolby, MPX and Limiter.
Open cassete load. One of the best build.
Power of amp is 70 Watts at 4 Ohms, enough for my 4530..
Tuner needs only a wire to get (Sender ??).

No, actually I do like Dual. :)
I've serviced a few of those cassette decks before and I've restored more old Dual turntables than I care to admit.

paragon

You get this cassette decks in the USA ??
These are very rare to get in Gemany.
Opend the Amp and it`s heavy and very full of electronics!!
Had to change the speaker relays(?).
This are (where) not cheap and cost was about 2200 USD
at this time they where build.
All parts work very fine.
