Hi all,
I used a small handheld oscilloscope (DSO) to do some checks and I found it interesting to show you some examples. The measurements were made by injecting with this device and measuring directly on each speaker.
Friendly.

Hello,

nobody answered ... so I added that the first curve is raised across a Tad 1601, the second across a 802-8G, and 3 across a 2405
after crossover ... you have been setting the vents, two peaks equal! this is interesting? no? ...voilą...
it is very quick and easy and cheap...voilą, voilą...

regards...

Hmmm, the Altec compression driver shows considerable linearity across a wide frequency range. Were these measurements taken with the drivers mounted on a horn?

Altec 511b yes, but I removed the capacitor 6UF of N501-8 to allow drop curve 802 naturally and let the 2405 do the job instead of 802 in high frequency...
